Senior Instructor of Korean
Bomi Oh has developed the curricula for a sequential 4-year Korean program as well as the corresponding materials. The curricula emphasize the communicative approach, including functional skills as well as linguistic skills through plenty of communicative, integrated and various fluency development tasks. She regularly presents at national and regional conferences and workshops. She has also been invited as a guest lecturer for several teacher-training workshops. In addition, she has trained GTFs as well as supervised and mentored M.A. students from LTS (Language Teaching Specialization) practicum in the linguistics department. Currently she is teaching Korean language courses and taking a role as a Korean Language & Advising Coordinator.
